In April 2015, an earthquake that killed more than 9,000 people and injured more than 23,000 devastated Nepal.

The World Youth International School, which has more than 500 students, and the Sapana Dreaming Centre for Humanity, which provides a safe and loving home for disadvantaged children, were damaged in the quake. WYI worked with the local community to repair and rebuild the WYI school and centre, as well as rebuild crucial community infrastructure that were destroyed, such as schools, water pipelines, and other community facilities.

Thank you to everyone who fundraised and volunteered at this important time. The school is once again in full operation.
