We’re thrilled to announce that Scrub Lab have generously committed to donating their high quality and stylish scrubs to World Youth International for our Nurses in Action volunteers to wear while traveling and providing healthcare overseas.
Nurses can travel with peace of mind knowing that when they arrive for their volunteer program, they’ll be dressed each day in only the comfiest scrubs, that will have them feeling confident and ready for any challenge or task each day brings.
Scrub Lab’s scrubs are stylish, functional and durable, inspired by the daily challenges and no less than small miracles our volunteers will deliver each day. Each pair of Scrubs feature Scrub Lab’s proprietary SLTech™ fabric technology and SILVADUR™ antimicrobial technology, which combined create wrinkle resistant, ultra-soft, anti-odour protection as well as a four way stretch for supreme comfort.
Scrub Lab are continuously showing their support for World Youth International initiatives, with this generous donation coming off the back of the commitment and support to a Health Camp, which will take place in Kenya in January 2023. So not only will their donation of scrubs support nurses overseas, but their team will also be providing vital healthcare to those in need too. Their commitment to a Health Camp will enable hundreds of people to be tested for common illnesses such as malaria and HIV during this time, as testing stations and a pharmacy will be set up, where patients will also receive medication and wounds can be treated as required.
The donation of scrubs from Scrub Lab means we can reallocate funds once used to purchase other scrubs to provide further support to those in need through our various programs in Kenya and Nepal and continue to create and have a greater positive impact around the world.
Thank you Scrub Lab once again for your support!
