Now is the time to apply. There is currently a $55 non-refundable application fee that you will need to pay when completing your application. Once you apply, you will have two weeks to secure your place on the program by paying a deposit of $550, which comes off your program fee. We will then set up a payment plan for you to pay your program fee in regular easy instalments.
Australian nurses may be able to claim their CPD training hours on this program, making part of their program fee a tax deduction. For further information on whether this would apply to you, we strongly encourage you to contact an accountant or tax adviser.
Nurses in Action
The Nurses in Action Program is a team-based program held over 3 - 4 weeks which allows nurses and allied health professionals of all ages to provide primary healthcare services to people living in remote communities.
The program fee includes all in country costs: accommodation, meals, transport, placements, rest and relaxation package and sightseeing.
*27 day program - if you choose to join the optional 3-day safari, the program will run for 30 days.
Global Adventurer's Program - Health
Nursing and Allied Health professionals and students make a real difference on a GAP Health Program. You will utilise your healthcare skills and knowledge to treat, diagnose and educate locals in a variety of settings.
