Aleksandra
Student & Rising Star in Australian Swimming
The pool has been a place of immense growth for me, teaching me about teamwork, confidence, and perseverance. The friendships I've made and the lessons I've learned have shaped who I am. Now, I want to use my passion for swimming to help other young people experience the same joy and personal growth that sport has given me.
For the past few years, l've had the privilege of sponsoring two girls, Rita and Karishma, at the World Youth International School in Nepal. I've loved hearing about their time at the school and learning about their lives. Now, I want to do more to help their classmates, too.
Every lap I swim is a step closer to creating opportunities for female students in Nepal, and I invite you to join me on this journey.
My goal is to raise $2,000 annually for the next three years to provide female students with access to soccer training and tournaments. By supporting these sports programs, we're not just funding a sport; we're empowering young women with critical life skills like leadership, teamwork, and resilience.
Your Donation's Impact

Investing in female soccer programs in Nepal is a powerful tool for social change. While their national team has achieved great success, many girls at the grassroots level face cultural and financial barriers. By supporting them, you help provide an opportunity to stay in school, succeed academically, and develop the leadership skills needed to break the cycle of poverty. Your contribution directly helps to challenge gender stereotypes, build a stronger generation of Nepali youth, and create a brighter future for all.
Here’s what your donation can do:

Please join me in making a difference. Your generous contribution is so much more than a donation - it's an act of global generosity that brings us together to make a positive change. Please donate today to empower the youth of tomorrow!

About the World Youth International School
World Youth International (Aust) Ltd has been operating in Australia for over 37 years and is a registered charity that has acquired DGR status for taxation purposes.
Vision: To educate, empower and inspire positive change within the global community.
Mission: To enhance quality of life, strengthen global communities and reduce poverty through sustainable development initiatives.
The World Youth International School was opened in Nepal on 14 September 1999, with the purpose to train local teachers and provide a rich, dynamic education for its students. Situated in the Gokarna region, the school provides children with a quality education through shared cultural teachings and experiences.
Nepal was chosen because at the time, it had the third lowest literacy rate in the world. Approximately 87% of women and 70% of men were illiterate. When the school first opened, there were 24 children enrolled.
Thanks to the support of generous donors, such as Computershare, the school now caters for students up to year 12 and currently has over 700 students attending the school. The current average grade pass is 97% making it one of the highest-rated schools in the region.
Donations to World Youth International are fully tax deductible.
