World Youth International has proved to be a stepping stone for various children in the community of Gokarna, Nepal.

From providing education scholarships to children to caring for their accommodation and health, World Youth International has changed hundreds of lives and paved a strong foundation for the community. Our child scholarship program has helped these children receive quality education so they can work towards a brighter future.

Anil is a proud graduate of the World Youth International School in Nepal. He had the opportunity to start his schooling in 2002 when a sponsor began supporting him.

“I am grateful to the World Youth International School for welcoming me with open arms. I will never forget the unconditional love that I received. With my scholarship, I was able to study all those years without any financial burden on my parents. The continuous support from all the school staff along with my sponsor made a huge impact in my life. It has made me the person I am today,"says Anil.

For many years, education was considered a luxury in Nepal. This mindset has now changed, with the literacy rate being 67.9% (2018). The establishment of the World Youth International School has ensured that hundreds of students gain access to their basic right of education. This has enabled the community to be aware of the importance of education and has changed the way people think.

Anil believes that the World Youth International School has contributed a lot to society.

“Because of the support of so many generous people who have joined World Youth International’s child scholarship program, we can see many of the School’s graduates shining in their respective fields. These children would not have been able to complete their studies with a scholarship,” says Anil.

Anil completed his undergraduate certification in Business Administration. With a strong determination to complete his studies, he arrived in Adelaide in 2019 and has been pursuing his dream of completing a Master’s Degree in Accounting. He aspires to have a successful accounting career.

World Youth International's scholarship program has helped students like Anil pursue their dreams. The future of these children would not have been so bright without the support and aid of our generous child scholarship sponsors. These children would not have many opportunities to succeed in reaching their goals, or even be able to financially look after themselves.

There are still many families who cannot afford to provide an education for their children. We believe in the power of education to not only benefit and empower the life of the child. To support these children reach their full potential, just like Anil, you too can join the child scholarship program.

Our child sponsorship program has huge benefits for the sponsors. World Youth International will send you regular updates on your child including photos, personalised letters and report cards and will encourage your family to send photos and letters so you can develop a long-lasting relationship! If you have a young family, it is a great way to teach your children about different cultures and create new friendships. Your contribution is fully tax deductible and it will cover every aspect of the child’s educational needs. You can even cover their school lunches for a small additional fee. Sponsors are invited to attend our biannual ‘Founders Day’ celebrations at the World Youth International School in Nepal so you can meet your child and witness the impact of your donation.

Generosity empowers people to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value that anyone can act upon. We can all give back in some small way and committing to our child scholarship program will not only change the life of a young Nepali child, but will have a significant impact on your life as well.
